Luau Inspired Beach Party Favors for a Child’s Birthday
This week’s Pinterest inspired project is a fun idea for beach party favors that could work with a beach or luau party theme.
I pinned this craft to my “Gift Ideas board” and brought it to life for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. We are having a Luau!
So here is the beach party favors pinned idea that came from Shorty Creations.
I went to Walmart and found these awesome shovels and rakes on one of the birthday party aisle end caps, priced at .97 cents.
Then I grabbed these fun pails at Party City, for .99 cents each.
The party favor bags came from Walmart for .97 cents.
The ribbon I already had, and the candy was a few dollars for each bag.
Not too shabby I don’t think!
Took less than 5 minutes to make, about $20 and I have beach party favors pails for 8-10 kids!
So what do you think?
Feel free to pin this fun idea to your own boards!

I’ll have to remember this for my son’s next birthday. We had a pool put in and this would be a great party favor to go along with the theme!
Those are super cute and make excellent party favors.
These are so fun! I need to have a summer baby so I can do things like this.
How fun! Great ideas.
This is interesting, the only thing i dont like is candy, perhaps other types of snacks would be better idea =)
The pails were available at our Party City store and the shovels/rakes were at Walmart for .97 cents. I bought out what they had left. The original pinner said she got her purple shovels at the dollar store, though I didn’t look there. I preferred the look of blue and orange, versus purple :)
that is a really cute idea! did you get the item in bulk or at a deal store?
So true! This would be fun for Easter, great idea :)
These turned out so cute!
That is so cute! Be a great idea for even Easter.
