Oh my goodness, this is delicious! Just like apple pie – I don’t like the pastry part anyway! I topped it with greek yogurt mixed with caramel skinny syrup. YUM!

Hi Amanda,
I bake a Rome Apple in the oven with 2 tsp brown sugar. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on each, Bake in a dish with a little water on bottom of dish. I’m assuming this is only 2 smart points. Am I correct?

Silly question but for the cornstarch do you sprinkle it over the apples like with the sugar? I wasn’t sure about that step.

We do this recipe frequently! It’s so good. For a real treat, top with 1 tablespoon of granola immediately before serving. It’s like apple crisp, without the guilt.

I really dont get where the points come from apple is freeand I use stevia cinnamonnis free water is free and its only a1/4 tsp corn starch so where are the 2 points? Im going to have to take this to my meeting!

There are points because it is cooked. Its’ properties change a bit. But 2 points is not a big deal.

Under Smart Points, the WW Recipe Builder gives this 0 points. Smart Points makes a lot of difference. Some things have more points and others less from their previous programs. I pretty much double check everything, especially if it just says “points” and doesn’t specify that it’s Smart Points.

My aunt-in-law has an apple orchard on their farm. So we get tons of apples every year. This is one of the things we do with them. So simple and makes such a wonderful treat.
