Black Friday Predictions | Walmart Black Friday Ad 2011
Black Friday is one of my favorite events during the holidays. Who doesn’t love getting a great deal? I love the deals but I also love getting out to shop in the middle of the night, call me crazy! LOL
Recently Walmart has posted their Black Friday 2011 ad along with the announcement that Black Friday will begin at 10pm on Thanksgiving night.
Kind of ironic when Target recently announced that they would be opening up at midnight.
Starting at 10pm Walmart will be opening their doors and offering deal busters on toys, clothes and home accessories. There will be board games starting at $3.88 and up, a Leapfrog Tag for $20, select V-Tech toys starting at $10, a Step 2 Lifestyle Kitchen for $50 and a 2 Slice Waffle maker for $2.84!
Then at midnight there will be more deal discounts on electronics. You can find Xbox 360 games for $10 and up, a Philips 4GB MP3 player for $19.98, LG Blue Ray DVD Player for $49 and even a HP all in one printer for $19!
Would you know that at 8 am and all throughout Thanksgiving weekend Walmart will be adding more items. Some of items included are DVD’s starting at $1.96 and up, Goodyear Tires starting at $59 and a Samsung 40” 1080p LCD TV for $428!
This is going to make for a long night when other retailers are not opening up until 1am or even 3 am. Walmart has this planned to keep people coming all weekend long!
You can see the entire Walmart’s Black Friday ad at the Walmart website.
Do you shop Black Friday? What are you excited to get?!
Thanks for sharing! They’ve got some great deals and I plan on doing some shopping! :)
It’s great for people who like the whole Black Friday thing, but I liked it better years ago when black Friday was no big deal. The stores opened when they normally opened. Thanksgiving was still Thanksgiving. And I feel badly for the employees that have to work on Thanksgiving now. Seems like no holiday is sacred anymore.
Bah, humbug.
I love Black Friday shopping. I might have to make it to Walmart this year.
For some crazy reason I love getting out in the stores LOL Sleep does sound nice though :)
I used to shop Black Friday and enjoy all the hype, but last year I just got up early and shopped online. Amazon and other stores price-matched the big stores, so I was able to go back to bed and sleep in!
Black fridays are the craziest! People do some crazy things out there to get the deal! lol I love that walmart is doing it all weekend!!
Nothing could make me go ever again. I went once, and was just overwhelmed. The extra special prices are just gimmicks–stores only carry just a few of these items, and there are never rain checks. I would rather spend the day with my family and relax.
I’m usually too tired after hosting a Thanksgiving for 20 or more people to get out. I also can’t stand crowds and waiting in line at Walmart is torture enough on a regular day, I can’t imagine doing that on Black Friday. I more prefer Cyber Monday. Good Luck with your shopping.
I have never gone out on Black Friday….I hate crowds and I hate pushy mom’s as they scramble past you at a dead run to get the best items first. I can’t move that fast so I stay HOME! lol I get my deals the day after Christmas. :)
I’ve never been shopping on Black Friday but hope I can this year. If we can find a babysitter, I’d even go at night! Anything for a deal!
Good luck snagging some awesome deals! I will probably stay out of the cold for this one and wait for CyberMonday!
So you’re one of those crazy people!?!? More power to you! Me….I stay in my house away from all the insanity.

My husband and I used to get up at the crack of dawn and shop on black Friday. Now he is the lucky one to get with my brother and battle the crowds, while I sleep in a nice warm bed waiting for our kids to wake up. He loves to get a deal, especially on TOYS! Go figure…lol. So I will be sure to remind him of the deals happening much earlier and he too can sleep in this year!
I am planning on shopping Black Friday this year, haven’t done it in years.. I am hoping to snag some bargains in the electronics for the hubby and teens, and a lot of stocking stuffers for the family.
I love Black Friday…it is just part of the Holida. That Kindle is kind of tempting on the Walmart add. If anything I love watching the people. The good thing is we can stay up late and sleep in…yeah right I forgot about my kiddos he but what is Grandma for ritght?
