Being a new cat owner has been one of the most fun things I’ve ever done, but it’s also been a big learning experience. Mittens came to live with us this summer at 7 weeks old, he was an itty bitty barn kitty with a few health issues. We wanted to give him the best start at life and lay a good foundation for his future with us.
To start, we got Mittens cared for at the vet and started a few preventative options to keep him healthy.
One of the first priorities was finding a brand of food and products to help keep our kitty healthy and happy.
Mittens has become the prince of pickiness. Seriously. Finding a product that he loves and that we feel good about has been a mission. The one product he stands behind? Meow Mix. Purrs for days, snuggles and meows every time we stock up and bring home new goodies.
On my latest trip to Walmart, I picked up the new Meow Mix Brushing Bites. Did you know that 85% of cats show signs of oral disease by 3 years of age? After learning this myself, I decided to try a tasty take on dental treats to help keep Mitten’s teeth healthy.
After all, prevention is key!
These crunchy little treats are specially designed to help keep your cat’s teeth clean by reducing plaque and tartar when fed daily. At such a reasonable price, I had to grab this tasty treat that both Mitten’s and I could both smile about.
We’ve worked Meow Mix Brushing Bites into our daily routine. The flavors come in both real chicken and salmon, so we can mix things up to keep it interesting for Mittens.
Each day, we use the Brushing Bites to help Mitten’s become easy around friends or even to bond during playtime. He loves it! And we love that he’s happy.
This is just one of the delicious ways that we are working with Mitten’s to keep him not only happy, but healthy. It’s so easy to do and this royal pickiness approves!
Meow Mix Brushing Bites can be found at your local Walmart and will also be available on WALMART.COM soon. For now, you can find out more about Meow Mix Brushing Bites HERE.
