Cesar Meaty Selects High Quality Food For Small Dogs

Cookie is a miniature Shih Tzu that came to live with my mother after a hard battle into this world. She was smaller than her brothers and sisters, and at one point she wasn’t expected to make it. Cookie is a special one, and we all love her to pieces.

I watch my mom care for Cookie just like she is the baby in the family. Cookie gets rocked in everyone’s arms, belly rubs to no end, she is definitely a loved dog.

Cookie is not just a dog, she is a member of the family and a loving companion for my mother. Because Cookie gives back so much to us, we want to make sure that she is fed the best dog food for her size and build.

We received the Cesar Meaty Selects food for small dogs. Already I love the packaging! The Meaty Selects come in a resealable 10 ounce can and they can be used as a stand alone food or as a delicious compliment to their favorite dry food.

We are working on a gradual transition into the Cesar Meaty Selects food for dogs to prevent an upset doggy tummy. Here are a few great tips that were followed:

• For the first two days or so, your dog’s meals should be about 75% old food and 25% new food. Mix the two foods together, don’t keep them separated.
• If the first couple of days of the transition go smoothly, you can mix 50% of your dog’s old food with 50% of the new food on days 3 and 4.
• On days 5 and 6, your dog’s meals should be about 75% new food and only 25% of the old food.
• On day 7 let your dog enjoy 100% of the new Cesar dog food!

The transitioning process has been a smooth and slow going process. She has been known to have potty problems in the past when transitioning too quickly so we are taking our time. For now Cookie is receiving the Cesar Meaty Selects as a treat topping to her dry dog food. We love that this is a simple way to give back to Cookie, she loves the dog food, and it actually encourages to finish her dog food instead of slow grazing all day.
