Cheddar’s Opens a New Restaurant in Kansas City!

Northland Kansas City is receiving a special treat! Cheddar’s Casual Cafe, a top-rated dining chain, is celebrating their grand opening at 8380 N. Booth Avenue on January 27th, 2014.
Cheddar’s is a leader in high value, American casual dining. This scratch cooking kitchen has become one of my family’s favorites! Since the opening of Cheddar’s in Independence, we have visited the restaurant a countless number of times. With the Grand Opening of Cheddar’s in the Northland, this will mark the third restaurant in the Kansas City area with the addition of 200 new jobs.
The 8,000-square-foot restaurant seats up to 288 guests in a beautifully decorated dining room that is equally suitable for family meals, business meetings or date nights. Designer-quality interior and exterior features include real copper awnings, reclaimed Chicago brick, Austin chalk stone from a Texas quarry, solid cherry and walnut butcher-block tabletops, cedar millwork, a granite bar top and a 400-gallon fish tank.
The Cheddar’s Menu
Cheddar’s classic menu features selections of steak, ribs, seafood, salads, pastas, burgers, chicken, and more – all made by hand using Cheddar’s exclusive recipes.
In fact, more than 90 percent of the food served at Cheddar’s is handmade from scratch, using fresh ingredients in a kitchen twice the size of the average restaurant kitchen, with up to three times the average number of cooks.
The Lighter Side menu features entrees with fewer than 575 calories. The kids’ menu includes classic favorites like hand-breaded chicken tenders and penne pasta with homemade marinara sauce that can be paired with unique side offerings like edamame, a fresh apple or yogurt medley.
