A few months back a hail storm came through that did quite a bit of damage to our house. One of the nightmares we had to contend with was a busted skylight that caused water to come pouring into our house.
Since this happened in the middle of the night our first concern was to stop the water from coming in, my husband and another guy contended with the strong storms outside to place a tarp on the skylight. Then morning came and we had the dreaded thought of how we would fix water damage to our ceilings, walls and floors.
We called a water restoration company out in the middle of the night, called the insurance company, dealt with roofing companies for 2 months straight.
Three months later and we finally have things back in order…
