Date Night at Outback #OutbackBestMates
Date nights don’t happen very often, something tells me that I’m not alone in this. Since having two kids, times are always busy, from after school play dates, homework, errands, when the weekend comes we often forget to take the time to reconnect.
Thankfully, Outback Steakhouse is on a mission to help couples steak out more time for one another by declaring itself the Official Sponsor of Date Night and offering a yumtastic meal!
Outback’s New American Romance study uncovered the hard truth behind America’s date night problem – people are too busy for the one they love. More than half of those surveyed said they need at least one date night per month to keep the spark alive, but shockingly 56% can’t remember their last date night!
This is us! It’s not often that we get to go out without the kids, so when a baby sitter becomes available we grab the offer like it’s the last one we will ever have.
This last weekend, a lovely friend of ours offered to do the baby sitting deed. We made it into our local Outback Steakhouse and had an amazing meal together. Relaxing over a glass of whine and a thick juicy steak was the perfect ending to such a crazy week. With the holidays right around the corner, a date night is so perfect for releasing some of that stress and for pushing that “restart” button.
While I wish that a date night could occur more often, it’s not really the way that things play out. We had an amazing night and the date night meal option was great!
The classic Date Night Meal includes:
– A Bloomin Onion® to share
– Two 8 oz. Outback Special® Sirloins
– Choice of Freshly Made Side & Signature Salad (per person)
– A Classic Cheesecake dessert to share
– Or, have your Date Night Meal with two 6oz. filets or one 8oz. sirloin and one 6 oz. filet. Ask your server for details.
– Plus, relax and un-wine-d with $10 off select bottles of vino
Date nights are such an important thing to keep in a relationship and it’s so easy to lose sight of the last time you had one. Outback Steakhouse showed us a special evening and we can’t wait to reconnect again soon!
This sponsored post is part of my participation in the #OutbackBestMates program. As always, all thoughts are my own!
We love Outback! There is one near our house and we love going there for date nights.
We’ve never been to an Outback, and it’s always been on our “date list” – almost 8 years in, and we finally live near one! Unfortunately, our “first” was spoiled. I went out with a group of girlfriends, and they decided at the last minute to get lunch at Outback. Nick was pretty disappointed that I got to go to Outback before we went together for the first time, but since I didn’t have any control over that decision, we’re saying it didn’t happen. #lol That bloomin’ onion, though…. #drools
We are huge fans of Outback! They have awesome prices and you never leave hungry! Speaking of which, I think it is time for another date night….
We LOVE Outback here and often go there for our special dinners. We are never disappointed not matter what we get.
I had my first bloomin’ onion ever at an Outback and I don’t think anyone else’s has ever lived up to it. You’re making me want one now!
