Every Mother Needs This In Their Home! Roomba iRobot
Spring cleaning takes motivation, organization, patience and lots of time. Spring Cleaning also takes the right tools and products to get the job done! This is why I partnered with Kohls for our Spring Cleaning project. Kohls has a wide selection of products for home organization and tools for cleaning, it was a perfect fit when they wanted to help me out with a gift card to purchase something from my Spring Cleaning wish list. One of my Spring Cleaning wish list products was an iRobot Roomba 620 Vacuuming Robot. I spend a ton of time, each and every day, cleaning up dropped food, shredded paper, stickers and dirt tracked in from outside. So I went with Roomba because it would be amazing if this magical little robot could help out with a tedious task while I tackle other Spring Cleaning projects in the home.

When you are a Kohls charge card member they send you monthly coupons in the mail, often times being 30% off! So iRobot Roomba, normally priced $419, was on sale for $377.99 and I was able to purchase it with a 30% off coupon. I got this baby for $265 dollars!!
Do you realize that this is in comparison to many regular vacuums out there? I adopted Roomba as quickly as possible and brought him home.
iRobot Roomba sits about 13 inches tall and weighs about 12 lbs. He’s a good size vacuum that will move in and out of furniture and small spaces.
On Roomba’s underside, you will find two brushes that will collect dirt, pet hair, dust, allergens and more! He also includes a little side brush that does a great job at sweeping dirt out from under cabinets.
There is a good size compartment inside of Roomba that will contain everything that he picks up. This needs to be changed out after each use.
Our furniture is pretty close to the ground so Roomba doesn’t go underneath to clean, but his little side brushes love to sweep things out from under the couch and coffee table!
Behind furniture and in small spaces, this is no challenge for Roomba! He can zip around in places that my regular vacuum hasn’t seen in ages.
We have tile in the kitchen and around the fireplace, Roomba can transition from either floor with no problem at all.
So how has it worked for us?
Okay, so I have a funny story for you. When we first started to use Roomba, our kids really thought that Roomba was going to suck up all of their toys. I can’t tell you how quickly everything was picked up the moment I announced that Roomba was being turned on!
We’ve been using Roomba for about a month now and though that novelty has worn off with the kids, I still love him just as much.
I push a single button on Roomba, he cleans my ENTIRE upstairs and then he goes right back to his base to charge. I don’t have to do anything else.
Roomba stops at the stairs and knows where his boundaries are, he leaves BEAUTIFUL lines in my carpet and even with a daily cleaning, his cartridge fills up with yucky stuff.
I’ve been able to spend more time with my kids, get other Spring Cleaning projects done and my life has been simplified. Absolutely the BEST purchase of cleaning products that I’ve ever made.
Every mom needs this! Now all we need is the iRobot Scooba 450 to scrub our kitchen floors for us :)

I have always wanted to try this. I have little carpet in the house but, would love to see it in action.
I need to try one of these out. I was always nervous that it would get full too quickly and not finish the job. My sister has one and loves it.
I definitely need that in my home. How convenient to have something clean up all of the dust and pollen that get everywhere!
There is only one place in our house that it gets stuck and it’s on one side of our coffee table. I just roll a towel and place it there while Roomba is running and all is good :)
We have an iRobot Roomba and love it. We also have a Scooba which is fabulous for mopping.

I have a similar vacuum that I just got. It’s the neato robotics and it is awesome.
I would LOVE to have one of these! My 11 month old daughter is starting to pick up (and try to eat) every single little speck of anything she finds laying around on the floor. I’d love to have this take care of messes for me throughout the day, so I don’t have to worry about her putting stuff in her mouth!
