I’m with you Susan! Last year we came across the Fisher Price cash register at Toys R Us, the same one I played with as a kid. Of course this brought back fond memories and I had to snag one up for my kids. Candyland is a favorite as well!
I always like to see toys I grew up with on the shelves. If it’s a toy or game I enjoyed as a child then I’m more likely to buy it for my children. The first game I bought my daughter was Candyland, a game I grew up playing.
In the past couple of years they really have been bringing back the shows and toys from when I was growing up like Transformers and now Star Wars. My kids like Legos and luckily I saved mine from when I was younger, mostly due to the cost!
