Gingerbread Cream Cheese Dip
The holidays are filled with so much food. Cookies, bars, pot lucks, holiday dinners, food is everywhere we go. Trying to live a healthier lifestyle can be detrimental with so much temptation.
Experts recommend that women consume less than 6 teaspoons of added sugar daily. Can you believe that most Americans eat over 22 teaspoons?
This holiday, I’m trying to be more conscious about what goes into my mouth. One of those ways is by taking my favorite holiday recipes, substituting the sugar ingredient with Splenda sweetener products and make them a smart yet delicious choice.
Today, I was able to reduce calories and sugar in this Gingerbread Cream Cheese Dip by swapping out the brown sugar with Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. No one knew, but me!
Each Splenda Sweetener product comes with a conversion chart on the package, making it super easy to bake delicious goodies. The Splenda Brown Sugar Blend that I used is a 1/2 cup Splenda to 1 cup sugar equation. Just about anywhere that you love sugar, you’ll love this Splenda No Calorie Sweetener!
For this recipe, it called for 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I swapped the brown sugar with 2 tbsp of Splenda Brown Sugar Blend.
Gingerbread Cream Cheese Dip is best served with graham crackers for dipping, they give an extra flavor to make this dessert amazing. This is a great option for a pot luck, I made this for my husband’s pot luck at work, it’s also great for get togethers with your friends, game nights and even casual entertaining.
