Holiday Food Menu – Edible Centerpieces, Desserts & Appetizers!
It’s time to start planning your holiday food menu! I’m talking edible Christmas centerpieces, fun treats for dessert and appetizers that are too pretty to eat. I love to party plan for Christmas, just something about the holiday makes it super fun. There are so many things that you can do, your guests and kids will love it all.
I’m starting our holiday food menu with this snow coated (white chocolate) strawberry christmas tree. Though it’s elegance looks like this took hours to make, the process was really simple.
Start with a styrofoam cone, any size will do! Melt a pot of almond bark, dip your strawberries in it and lay onto a piece of wax paper to harden. While still wet, sprinkle your strawberries with a festive candy. Pin each strawberry to your styrofoam cone, using a toothpick, and fill in any white spaces with the tops of your strawberries. Easy peasy!
