Tackling Household Chores with iRobot Roomba 870

I’m no stranger to Roomba. I’ve been living with an iRobot Roomba in my home for the last couple of years and this little guy has turned into a part of our family.
It’s like having another helping hand in your home!
As a Best Buy blogger, I get to try out cool things all of the time. But, when the iRobot Roomba 870 was sent me, I was all kinds of excited!
How could Roomba get any better? I mean, he cleans for you without whining, he takes his time to make sure every spot is hit and really, Roomba is the best things since sliced bread.
When the iRobot Roomba 870 arrived, I was anxious to check out his new features.
Here are some of the new features that really caught my attention:
- 2 Virtual Wall Barriers keep Roomba in the rooms you want to vacuum & out of the ones you don’t. Meaning, no more lining up pillows, putting up baby gates and closing doors. Roomba will stay exactly where you want him to!
- No more cleaning brushes! Tangle-free AeroForce™ Extractors are virtually maintenance free, making it even easier for Roomba to tackle daily dirt build-up and leave more time for you to enjoy your day.
- Roomba’s large HEPA filter keeps dust, dander, and other allergens out of the air – ideal for homes with pets and allergy sufferers
- Just press CLEAN or schedule Roomba to vacuum when it’s most convenient for you. With the easy lit display, I can schedule Roomba out for the entire week and tell him what time the cleaning should be done.
I’ve been using the iRobot Roomba for a couple of weeks now and he has really improved a lot. I’m impressed.
With the revolutionary AeroForce™ Performance Cleaning System, Roomba sucks everything up off of the floors and always leaves pretty lines. I’ve even made the comment to my husband that Roomba cleans better than our regular vacuum!
I love that Roomba is a set it and forget it kind of thing. With a push of a button, or with the handy dandy scheduling feature, Roomba will go out and vacuum the room and return right back to his base. It’s really a no fuss vacuum!
