If anyone can attest to children being different and unique… it’s me. Andrea and Andrew are about as different as night and day. While Andrea loves to be immersed in a world of fairy tales and all things girly… Andrew would prefer to spend his days challenging himself with building projects and science experiments. They are such individuals that at times it’s hard to believe they’ve even been raised in the same household! His food allergies, while improving over the years, are still very real and require diligence and patience for anyone that is caring for him. Andrea also has her own specific needs when it comes to language and verbal skills. This too requires understanding and patience on behalf of anyone that will be caring for her.
Children develop tremendously between the ages of 0-6 and form most of their little personalities during this time. It’s imperative that they are able to develop in and grow in an environment that fosters creativity while still challenging them to reach new levels. One that understands their uniqueness, and encourages it!
