Park Shore Waikiki Hawaii Hotel Review
In Oahu, the tourists’ place to be is Waikiki Beach. Park Shore Waikiki is an Aqua Property and in an excellent location on Waikiki. Park Shore Waikiki offered for us to stay on the 12th floor with an ocean view for review, all thoughts are my own.
It was the perfect place to stay during our Babymoon in Hawaii. We arrived after dark and because there is so much packed in to the Waikiki area we had a little trouble figuring out where to park. I called the front desk of Park Shore and the woman who answered was so friendly and helpful it was so refreshing.
We pulled up for the valet, checked in very smoothly, and headed up to our room. There, a nice big King size bed and clean room waited with music playing on the room phone.
The first thing both my husband and I wanted to do was pull back the curtains to the balcony and check out the view. Maybe it was the soothing sound of ocean waves crashing or the warm Hawaiian breeze blowing, but we both felt so relaxed!
The staff were consistently pleasant, and really made you feel like you were being taken care of. Each day when we’d come back from breakfast our room would be refreshed with clean folded towels, our bed made, and the trash taken out.
The shower each morning was wonderful, the bathroom was very clean, and the small soaps they offered smelled amazing. There is a little notice in the bathroom to help patrons be “green” during their stay. Basically if you would like to reuse your towels you should hang them up. If you would like fresh towels each day just leave them on the floor. We noticed that no matter where we left our towels they always gave us all new ones. Perhaps this offer should be revisited, as we tried to be “green” during our stay!
I think the only down sides were minor. The décor could use some updating, and the doors of the rooms slam shut so it can be a little disturbing. We expected the bed to be more comfortable, maybe a memory foam mattress topper would be an easy solution, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.
Park Shore provides a small safe in the room, which gave me peace of mind because I wanted a place to store my camera equipment while we ventured about.
Park Shore Waikiki made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our vacation. The huge flat screen TV was great at night when we just wanted to relax in the AC after a long day in the 80+ degree weather.
We enjoyed watching the sunrise over Diamond Head in the mornings and on one day we saw fireworks from our balcony! It was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back!
What a gorgeous hotel :) I went on a babymoon to Maui :) Off topic, I was also reading your about page – and you mentioned angelfire! That is hilarious. I used to have an nsync website on geocities. Ah, those were the days.

Wow! What a breathtaking view! I would just love to stay there with my husband for a second honeymoon!
Looks like this was a tough one to get through :p. I was never lucky enough to get Hawaii as a duty station but several friends spent time there and said it was great.
My son was stationed in Hawaii for a few years and we actually stayed there twice. Beautiful place!

It was breathtaking! I woke up at 4am just to see the sunrise over the ocean!
We never did either, so this Babymoon was doubly amazing for us! It’s funny how much more you appreciate one another after some much needed R&R!
Looks like a great place to take a little vacation away from home to!
