Party Animals Dancing Pet Speakers Brighten Any Gloomy Day
We have had a long two weeks of sickness at my house and many dreary rainy days. Party Animals arrived just in time to perk up my little ones. Our furry friend, Sandy, brought a big smile to my little runny nosed kiddo’s faces. Kate thought it was hysterical that this cute little dog was dancing to her favorite Veggie Tales songs and it wasn’t long before she was dancing also.
My package arrived wrapped in paw print tissue paper, which I thought was a cute touch. Sandy comes with a built in speaker and cord to attach to your music-playing device. You can use an mp3 player, iPod, iPod, smart phone, portable CD player, or any audio device with a standard 3.5 mm output jack. It does require 4 AAA batteries that are not included. You’ll also need a little screwdriver to open the battery case. You’ll need to flip the switch on your animal’s back to ON, then plug in the cord behind the foot, attach it to your music device and watch it get down to your rockin’ tunes. Sandy mixed up her moves and changed her pace according to the music that we played.
If you need a break from the dancing you can press Sandy’s paw to make her play music without movement. There is no volume switch on the Party Animal but you can adjust volume through your device. I had a hard time hearing it with my phone but it worked great on my iPod.
Party Animals comes in four adorable colors. There is Tom, a charming orange kitty and black and white Cleo. Sandy, a sandy colored puppy named after the musical Grease and a black and white puppy named Spike. Check out their cute bios here. http://www.dancingpartyanimals.com/meet.html I’m a huge Grease fan so we chose Sandy.
My daughter asks to turn on the “dancing dog” every day and still cracks up at it’s sweet moves. My 10 year old niece was asking where she could get one with her allowance savings. I think it’s safe to say that Sandy is a hit at our house.
What a fun novelty gift! Thanks Party Animals for bringing some fun to my grouchy sick kids.
You can purchase your Party Animal for $25.95 at Walgreens or on Amazon.
A portion of the profits go to benefit three animal related organizations (PETA, PAWS Chicago, and The Anti-Cruelty Society) which support the adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
