Quick & Easy Crockpot Dinner | Chicken Bacon Ranch
With the weather turning colder, I’ve been looking for some new ideas to throw in the Crockpot. Tonight’s dinner was inspired by our good friend Amy over at Inspirations by Amy.
This seriously took less than 5 minutes to prepare and was one of the best meals that we have had in a while. So soooo good!
Enjoy!
What you need:
- 4 large boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 cans cream of chicken
- 1 packet dry Ranch dressing
- 3-4 tbsp bacon bits
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 bag egg noodles
Instructions:
Line the bottom of your Crockpot with the boneless skinless chicken breast. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken, ranch dressing, bacon bits, and sour cream. Then pour the mixture over your chicken.
Cook on low 4-6 hours.
When there is about 20 minutes left in cooking time. Boil the egg noodles on the stove for about 10 minutes. Drain, the noodles and then pour them into the Crockpot.
Mix everything up and then cook for about 10 minutes longer.
Waaaah La! Serve & Enjoy
it does look tasty, and i like ranch
This sounds fabulous, its going on next weeks menu
I made this like I said I was going too. Only thing I messed up with was aI thought we had lots of bacon bits but we didn’t have enough so it would have been better with that. My daughter really enjoyed it. It did turn out great and I’ll do it again with more bacon bits next time. I really appreciate you sharing this.
I have everything but the dry ranch and I need to go to the store anyway so I want to try this. It looks so creamy and good and surely is a plus it’s easy to make. I love recipes like this. Thanks for sharing!
OMG this looks so good and it is so easy even my dh couldn’t mess it up! LOL Off to pin it!

Jessica you will have to let me know how you like it! I don’t think the Ranch was over powering in this dish, your husband might like it. Maybe you can make it and just not mention what all is in it :) He might be surprised!
You’re right! I don’t use mine nearly enough, and since you mentioned it I don’t think anything has ever turned out bad in one.
Crock Pot meals are great all year round, but there is something about making them in the cooler months.
You’re welcome!
I love crock pot meals, this looks really good. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Yum!! Looks delicious. Now that it’s turned cooler I’m all about warm crock pot meals :) Thanks Amy! Your pictures are gorgeous. :)
What would one do without the crock pot? I actually don’t use one very often but they sure come in handy when you need it and most of the time what you pull out is tasty!
This looks amazing! I am going to have to try it on a night my husband isn’t home though, because he is not a fan of ranch. Either that or he can have cereal instead.
Sounds delish!!!! I wonder if they make turkey bacon bits. im EBF and dd is sensitive to pork. Really sucks cause i LOVE bacon… Going in my must try slot for dinner! I love crockpot meals!
Hi Taryn, I absolute despise sour cream and couldn’t taste it a bit. I think it just helps to bring the flavors together. I actually used the Fat Free version and it worked great. Give it a try!
You had me at bacon ranch. Drool.
I can’t get over how much I love crockpot dinners! Its great seeing a new one that my family has not tried yet. This seems very simple & tasty! Thank you for sharing! I’m not sure if I can substitute the sour cream for something else, but I probably will. We’re not to big on sour cream!
This sounds really good and easy to make! My husband would enjoy it for something different!
Hi Maddy! I would think it would still turn out okay if the chicken was frozen, however the cook time might be closer to the 6-7 mark. When I made this tonight, the chicken was thawed out and it was done in about 4 1/2-5 hours. HTH!! :)
Hi, can the chicken be frozen?
Looks good and very easy!
Yum!!!
just what I was looking for! sounds delish!! Thanks!!
