Tips for Throwing a Stress Free Party
This post was sponsored by Weight Watchers Sweet Baked Goods as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.
Celebrations are a time for fun, but many people find them to bring a little anxiety as well! Particularly when you’re one hosting the event. While it can seem stressful, it doesn’t have to be! Here are a few tips to make hosting your next event sail smoothly!
1.) Don’t Be Afraid to Ask for Help
So often as host we feel that it’s our job to do every single thing by ourselves. This leads to unnecessary stress. When a friend ask what they can do to help, give them a task! Chances are they really do want to help, and would appreciate being included in the preparations!
2.) Greet and Introduce Your Guest
Most people know to great your guest when they arrive, but it’s important to introduce them to each other as well. This helps to avoid awkwardness or anyone feeling left out of the conversation.
3.) Play Some Light Music
Music helps guest relax and feel comfortable. Having some light music in the background is always a great idea! Be sure you don’t have it up too loud or you’ll find your guest yelling over to try and talk to one another.
4.) Invest in Easy Cleanup Plates and Utensils
You don’t want to spend time away from your party washing dishing. You also don’t want to allow them to pile up in the sink creating an eye sore. Paper plates and plastic utensils help to avoid this. There are even many of them you can find with fancy designs, to fit your more upscale event!
5.) Have Some Snacks On Hand!
Even if you plan on serving a full meal, it’s always a good idea to have snacks on hand for your guest to enjoy! These are things you’ll leave out both before and after that they can enjoy as they please. Weight Watchers makes some really good snack options!
Weight Watchers Salted Caramel Brownie Bliss is a sweet and salty treat that all the guest can indulge in. That’s because it only has 80 calories per serving and 4 SmartPoints®! With it’s perfect combination of rich chocolate brownie and decadent caramel, you’d never guess! I also love how easy they are to grab. You can find them at pretty much any local retailer for only $3.29.
