Summer Has Closed It’s Door – Our Memories in Rewind

Disclosure – This post was in part of a sponsored ambassadorship with Popsicle. All thoughts are my own.

Just today, I was outside with my kids, admiring the beautifully colored trees and rubbing my arms from the brisk nip in the air. Though the holidays are upon us, I’m saddened to see Summer close it’s door.

I dug through many of our pictures, looking for those picture perfect memories to put into a photo album.

Here are a few of our favorite memories in review…

Summer Memories

Ahh. The trip of a lifetime with my little guy. The Hilton San Destin invited Andrew and I to Destin, Florida for a mother/child vacation. We spent lots of time together, and I was so excited to fly with Andrew for the first time and watch him step into the ocean.

Summer Memories

My family and I packed our bags and headed out West to California. For the first time, I was able to meet with Christina (one of our contributors) and her lovely children. We took the kids to DisneyLand for their first time, visited SeaWorld and spent an amazing week in pure bliss.

Summer Memories

The weather was so warm and we soaked up as much sun as we could. My kids spent many days outside playing and cooling off with a refreshing Popsicle.

Summer Memories

My big girl turned 3 years old and graduated from her First Steps therapy program. We visited a local cupcake shop, her most favorite thing in the world, and spent the morning trying on hats, jewelry and fun accessories at the boutique.

Summer Memories

And who could forget our unforgettable Popsicle Party? This is definitely going to become a yearly Summer tradition. We brought together all of our friends and neighbors to enjoy some Popsicles and water fun.

This was such a fun way to bring our friends and neighbors together to create so many memories. All of the kids were talking about “the best party ever” for some time.

Our Summer was full of “firsts”, new memories and sad endings that opened new doors for my family. We are missing the sound of the ice cream truck driving through the neighborhood, the warm sun that enticed us to bring out swim suits and sprinklers. While we plan to enjoy the holidays and fun in the snow, we will silently be counting down the days until we can welcome Summer back.

What were some of your favorite Summer memories?
