Take Pressure Off of Sleeping During Pregnancy with UtterlyYours Pregnancy Pillow
One of the most important things to remember when it comes to sleeping (or trying to!) when you’re pregnant is to sleep on your left side. Sleeping on your left side optimizes blood flow to the placenta and, therefore, the baby.
When pregnant with my son, I grabbed all of the pillows from around the house to build a little nest around my belly. I did this to avoid rolling onto my back while sleeping. My husband lovingly called it “Pillowmanjaro”, his take on Kilimanjaro! It was a little comic relief, but its purpose was very serious.
Utterly Yours has come up with a genius way to rid our bed of “pillowmanjaro” this pregnancy.
Made with eco-friendly memory foam, the Utterly Yours Pregnancy Pillow has the right balance of comfort and support in an attractive package. In a variety of color schemes, these soft cubes are the perfect tool you’ll need for sleeping comfortably during pregnancy.
The Utterly Yours Pregnancy Pillow features:
- Small & Compact, easy to store & travel with
- Removable cover for easy washing
- Great Back Support
- Offers support for sleeping on your left side
- Proven to reduce back pain
- Comes in several stylish patterns
The Utterly Yours Pregnancy Pillow is so easy to use. Simply unbutton the top, lay it down where you’ll be snoozing and then lay yourself between the wedges. You can easily adjust how far the softer wedge goes under your belly. In the morning you can button it back up and it’s a nice decorative pillow on your bed spread.

Utterly Yours offers three different size pillows to better accommodate different size mommies.
I tried out the Pregnancy pillow over a few nights and could really see how it would be helpful when I was sporting a large pregnant belly with my son. When you’re eight or nine months pregnant your belly needs some support. Rather than trying to shove a random pillow under your side, the pregnancy pillow by Utterly Yours gives you the comfort that you need while sleeping in the latter part of pregnancy.
My husband wanted to give it a try, too! I told him we need to get him a Utterly Yours Pregnancy Pillow to keep him from snoring. When he lays on his side he doesn’t snore! He didn’t think that was a clever idea though, because they’re designed for pregnant women!
As for me, I can’t wait to sleep comfortably on my left side when my belly gets a little bigger.

These are way nice, I wish I would have had one with my pregnancies. I will have to get one for my friend who is pregnant
Well, I usually change positions often in my sleep and I’m comfortable with that. But being pregnant really restricts me to only my sides. And I can not turn anymore, but have to roll from one side to the other. I love the idea of this pillows and would happily try them if I had a chance , but really doubt I would be able to sleep at all on one side only.
Ira I was a tummy sleeper before becoming pregnant. It is recommended to sleep on your left side while pregnant because sleeping on your back could cut off blood flow to the baby. I learned to sleep on my left side and its actually a preferred way now, even after pregnancy. Sounds like maybe you are experiencing some joint discomfort that is causing you to roll? I wonder if a foam mattress topper would help with that?
It sounds like a great idea. Though I can not imaging sleeping on one side only, I have to roll (not to turn, but to roll) from one side to the other and sometimes get stuck on my back. And this is when I wake up in the middle of the night with the back pain… can not even use any pillows.
You poor thing! It’s so hard to get comfortable at the end. I hope you see some relief soon!
THIS IS GENIUS!! I’m currently using 3 king size pillows and a standard between my legs at 9 months pregnant. I have to be propped up because of the reflux that magically only occurs at night time, and the leg pillow to take pressure off my hips. It’s seriously rediculous. I keep thinking I should steal another for my belly but hubby is already upset that he’s left with one sad flat pillow. haha.
