Weekly Weigh In : Week 2 and Trucking Along… #NSNation
This was a completion of week 2 on Nutrisystem.
The first month is definitely a time of learning what you will like and not like. When I got my first selection of food I simply choose the “favorites” package, while that sounded like a great option at first I’m finding myself looking in the cupboard and not wanting to eat what is left.
Needless to say I’m having a hard time right now, however my food has been ordered for next month and I’m ever so grateful that I was able to customize my selections with items that I really enjoyed.
This past weekend really tested me and my commitment to changing my lifestyle as I went out to lunch with my husband on Saturday, the minute I hit foot in the restaurant something clicked in my head and I spiraled all weekend long. I’m sure it didn’t help that it was a bad time of the month when cravings hit.
Monday came and I regained my control and I’m rocking again… now I have to deal with the damage of last weekend, learn from it and move on.
So I told you last week that I would show you some of the meals that I’m really enjoying…
For Breakfast I really like the Low Fat Granola Cereal, while it is great by itself I find it is even better with sliced strawberries on top!
When it’s rainy outside I always enjoy a warm breakfast, the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is my favorite
Lunch time is always hard for me as I have two kids to feed, often on the run and I don’t have a lot of time to make myself lunch and sit down. The lunch bars are PERFECT for this kind of lifestyle and they are yummy to the max!
And days when I do have time to sit down I have really been enjoying the Fettuccini Alfredo
Dinner is my favorite meal of the day, always has been! For frozen meals this Glazed Chicken Tenders meal is YUMMM!!
And nights when the family wants to do Pizza…
So I’m hanging in there until my food comes, really missing these items as they were the first to go!
On to my weigh in…
This week I weighed in at 208.0 Lbs! That is a – .2 Lbs Loss this week
While it could have been a gain from the damage I did I will take this loss, learn from how I handled the eating out situation this weekend and move on.
Day 1 | -0.0 Lbs | 214.0 Lbs |
Week 1 | -5.8 Lbs | 208.2 Lbs |
Week 2 | -0.2 Lbs | 208.0 Lbs |
Friday is weigh in day for Nutrisystem buddies!!

Hang in there girl! Im very overweight myself. I lost 100 pounds back in 1994 (im 42) starving myself, only to gain it back over a 4 to 5 year period. Then in 1997 I got pregnant with my 2nd child and gained a whopping 75 pounds ! I never lost the baby weight. I then went on a Lean Cuisine, Subway diet in 2004 and lost 120 pounds! I looked and felt great!… I gained it all back from 2006 til now. My weight fluctuates 20 to 30 pounds all the time. Sooooo anyway I desperatly need to lose this weight. If I could afford Nutrisystem I would do it in a heartbeat. But, I cant afford it. So girl just hang in there with it. I know its hard but the results are so worth it. Something I learned about craving, dont deny them or you will either binge on them when you finally do give in to it or you will nibble this and that trying not to give into the craving. Both of course cause you to gain weight. Hang in there… it will get easier as each week passes!
