Send a Skype Video Greeting This Mothers Day!

I’m excited to announce that I have been chosen as a Skype Ambassador! Over the next three months I will be experiencing the wide range of features that Skype offers. During my experience, I will be reporting back here to share with you how Skype can enrich your lives, make life a little easier and how it can help you connect more personally with those who are long distance.

video chat greeting

This Mother’s Day why don’t send a “Mom You Rock” video to a special mom in your life? In the past I have always sent greeting cards to friends and family, now in the day of Skype I love that personal messages can now be shared easily with video chat.

Wouldn’t it just make your day to see a loved one on video from your computer? You can see them smile, see facial gestures that you haven’t seen in a long time, and hear their voice.. almost as if they were right there.

With Skype you can do all of that, and more.

Bring a smile to a mom in your life and send a video personal greeting through Skype’s “Mom You Rock” application on their Facebook page. After creating your video, share it through their application and be entered to win a bunch of awesome prizes!

That is cool. My nephew uses Skype all the time, it’s great he and my son talk like they are both here. Business’s have had conference video chatting for a long time but now everyone can have it! Imagine how nice for servicemen/women. Long Distance families etc

We tried to use Skype a lot when my husband was deployed to Afghanistan but had such a poor signal it didn’t work too well for us. We ended up having better luck with FaceTime. In the states we haven’t had any problems with Skype though. It’s so nice with being in the military to be able to see family while talking to them. It has really made things easier and made it seem like our families really aren’t that far away!
