3 Easy Ways to Spice Up Manwich Sloppy Joes
Ahh, the nostalgia of childhood.
There are certain memories that I’ll never forget. The moment they begin to slip from my mind, some familiar sound or smell brings them right back to the forefront. Isn’t if funny how memories work that way?
It’s fun to sit back at times and think about all that has changed since my younger years. Some of my favorites are still my favorites, but many of my favorite things have changed since childhood. One example is Manwich.
Growing up, Sloppy Joes made with Manwich were one of my favorite meals! I loved that you could mix things up a bit by adding different flavors of chips to the sandwich, and eating it all together!
As I’ve grown up, testing different flavors of chips on my sandwiches has become a bit less desirable than it once was. My love for Manwich, however, has remained the same! These days, it’s a lot more fancy though!
We all know that weeknights can be hectic, and it can often be difficult to get your entire family around the table. When you make it a Manwich Night, however, bringing your family together gets a whole lot easier!
What is Manwich?
Manwich is a tangy sauce that is perfect for sandwiches, pastas, and more! It doesn’t have any meat in it, so the possibilities for creativity are endless.
The three Manwich flavor varieties include; Manwich Original, Manwich bold, and Manwich Thick & Chunky. You can go to Manwich.com to check out Manwich products, recipes and more.
I’ve also included a few of my favorite (and more grown up) Manwich recipes below. Despite the fact that these are a bit fancier than the Manwich sloppy joes I enjoyed as a child; they are still delicious, easy to make, and great for the entire family!

Make tonight a Manwich night by trying out one of these recipes for your family! Not only are they guaranteed to love it, you’ll love putting the distractions aside and enjoying each other over a delicious meal!
I made sloppy Joe’s when my wife was pregnant….guess what I’m never allowed to cook anymore. My wife has to work this evening and our 7 year old son has never had a sloppy Joe so guess what I’m making tonight! When I asked my wife if I should make it from scratch she was like oh heck no! Use the Manwich stuff. It’s a right of childhood!!
Wow, you made something simple look so good! Great ideas! :)
Oh that looks good. I know my husband would want the Manwich bold, but I would prefer the original. Maybe a taste test!
Sloppy Joes are my father in law’s favorite meal, and since my mother in law is a vegetarian, I always make him some when he comes to visit. I can’t wait to perk up our next batch with one of these suggestions.
My mouth is watering. These ideas look so good. What a great idea to make Sloppy Joe’s a bit more creative.
