Our Summertime Bucket List – We Are Ready for Outside Fun!

This post is sponsored by Nestle Pure Life. As always, all thoughts are my own.

School let out a few weeks ago and summer is starting to show. As the temperatures rise, the kids have been hibernating inside with their toys. So, it’s my mission as a mom to help make summertime fun and get the kids outside for some fun activities.

From coloring on the sidewalk, to playing in the water, there are many things that we can do outside during the warm summer months. So we started with a summertime bucket list and sat down to write out all of the fun things that we would like to do before school starts back up.

First stop? The slip and slide! We grabbed a cooler of water for hydration and headed outside to play.

Since we don’t have a neighborhood pool, we enjoy water play outside to keep us cool. In addition to the slip and slide, we also like to fill up the baby pool, squirt water guns, play with the hose while washing the car and of course, run through the sprinkler.

It can be easy to get caught up in the fun and forget about those things that will keep our kids safe outside. Things like sunscreen, but hydration should be at the top of the list too. Particularly during the warmest summer days, dehydration can happen fast.

Did you know that kids should be drinking water every 20 minutes to stay hydrated?

Now that we have a long list of things to do outside this summer, I make sure to have Nestle Pure Life bottled water on hand. Some bottles are frozen the night before, giving us cool water all day long. The other bottles are stored in our garage for easy access during outside play. Nestle has been a brand that we trust in our house for years. Not only is it affordable and easy to keep on hand, the taste is refreshing.

What are your outside plans for the summer?
