Top Holiday Technology Pick! Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series Laptop

I recently partnered with Dell this holiday season to share one of my favorite holiday gifts, the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series Laptop. Technology has amplified to a point where I find myself constantly amazed by the options, and even the affordability of the products on the market today. I remember the days when purchasing a new computer was a MAJOR investment. It took months of planning, saving and deciding. Now, however, when you want a computer the biggest obstacle you face is choosing the kind you like that best fits your needs.

And, like a wedding ring or a new home, when you find the right one… you know!

That’s how I’m feeling right this moment about the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series Laptop. When Dell sent me this bad boy to try out, I didn’t really know what to expect. I had pictured it to be either big and bulky, or small and flimsy…. well…. It didn’t match either of those expectations (luckily).

This laptop is lightweight and ultra portable, while still having a big enough screen to allow me to do the work I need to do without squinting my eyes. It is also made quite well, and seems extremely durable. My children could sit with it on their laps comfortably, without fumbling over it awkwardly, like is the case with some laptops. It’s also just light enough for me to not feel confined to my home when I use it. I can easily scoop it up and transport it with me to my local book store or coffee shop, and get a mid work day change of scenery.

If you are in the market for a laptop, I strongly suggest giving this one a try. At the affordable price of $579 you cant beat the quality that you’ll find in your laptop. Other laptops I’ve researched in this price point have felt a flimsy on the outside. The Dell design is sleek, shiny and business like, to the point where I can whip it out in a business meeting and not feel awkward!

I’m so in love with the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series laptop, this is on my Christmas list for my little guy. We have been searching for the perfect laptop that he could learn on, do homework on and enjoy. This fits the bill and doesn’t break the bank.

I definitely would love this laptop under our tree! Our kid’s are coming home with more and more homework that requires online activity. And I can’t let them use my “business” computer. So this would be a life saver. Our “family” computer is a Dinosaur and is 10 years old!!

I’ve never owned a Dell computer though my hubby used to have a Dell notebook. I’ve been pretty happy with my Toshiba— so far anyway.

I would love a new laptop. We are too hard on ours I guess and they slow down no matter what we do after 9 months. This one is a year old.

That sounds like a great laptop for kids. More and more schools are requiring homework/essays/reports that need the kids to get on the Internet so something like this for home use is great!
