Baked Apple - Microwave Version

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 packet splenda
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1./4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Wash and core the apple, then slice it into thin, even wedges.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, Splenda, and cornstarch.
  • Place the apple slices in a microwave-safe bowl. Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over the slices and toss to coat evenly. Add the water to the bottom of the bowl.
  • Cover the bowl loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap or a lid. Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes, or until the apple slices are tender. Stir halfway through for even cooking.
  • Let the apple slices cool slightly. Drizzle the cooking liquid over the top before serving. Enjoy plain or with a topping like Greek yogurt, granola, or whipped cream.
