Ingredients

  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pecan Topping
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Method

  1. Mix the Filling:In a small bowl, stir together the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Roll the Dough: Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to create a single sheet. Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly across the dough.
  3. Roll and Slice: Roll the dough tightly into a log. Use dental floss (not a knife!) to slice into 9 even rolls.
  4. Bake: Place rolls into a greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  5. Make the Glaze: While the rolls bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, maple syrup, and pecans. Simmer until thick and glossy.
  6. Glaze and Serve: Pour the warm pecan glaze over the rolls right after baking. Serve warm and enjoy!
