Ingredients

Filling
  • 1 Pre Made Pie Crust (Or Homemade)
  • 4 cups canned peaches drained
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
Crumble Topping
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter cubed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pre-made crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the peach slices with granulated sugar and nutmeg. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and heavy cream, then pour over the peaches and mix gently. Transfer the peach mixture into the prepared crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the peaches, covering the entire surface.
  5. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
